You woke to the sound of someone frantically calling your name. Slowly you opened your eyes to see a boy with stunning blue-green eyes. His warm arms held you protectively.
"W-what's going on? I sensed there was a demon here in the house!"
"Slayer headquarters received a distress signal from your home and I found passed out on the floor of your bedroom. Oh I'm Eren by the way."
"Eren... has something like this ever happened before?"
Eren grimaced. "Unfortunately. I'm afraid it's only happened with high demons, so we're dealing with something big."
"Do you think it's the same demons that went after my parents?"
"It's highly likely. Your brother was killed by mid tier demons, but he wasn't as strong as your parents. Perhaps they were ordered by high demons to do the deed."
"I don't understand why this is happening..." You muttered.
"Anyway, you shouldn't stay here. I was actually ordered to bring you to Slayer headquarters..."
You nodded and attempted to get up, but winced in pain and had to stop the action.
Eren practically had to pick you up so you could stand.
As went to your closet to get your suitcase, you saw yourself in the mirror of your vanity.
Your eyes widened as you gazed at yourself in the mirror. Your night shirt had been ripped open. Someone or something had carved an odd symbols on your chest with what you guessed was a knife. Your arms had suspiciously hand shaped bruises on them. You lightly ran your hands over the slices on your chest, wincing as you did so.
"We'll get those looked at when we get back to headquarters." Eren said gently, approaching your shaking form.
You took a few deep breathes to calm yourself and after one last look in the mirror you tore yourself away so you could pack.
You didn't own much, so your things, aside from your slayer equipment fit neatly into one suitcase.
"Eren, would you help me clean out the fridge and take out the trash? If I come back, I don't want to come back to spoiled food."
Eren nodded. "Of course."
After you finished cleaning the necessary parts of your home, Eren helped bring your things out to his waiting car.
"Headquarters are located next to the your university. Much of it is underneath a convent, but since you're a woman, you can stay in the rooms above ground." Eren told you while focusing on the road.
When you arrived, you were welcomed by a group of nuns. The younger ones led you to a shared bathroom, gently washing your bruised body. After you redressed, you said goodbye to Eren.
"I'll be below if you need anything. The head slayer is out on a mission at the moment, but you'll meet with him sometime tomorrow."
"Thank you Eren." You smiled, touching the boy lightly on his shoulder. "For everything."
"Of course!" He said, a cheerful grin on his face.

You sat down on your new bed with a sigh, causing the mattress to release a creaky moan. How in the world were you going to be able to fall back asleep? Still sitting up, you closed your eyes and took deep breathes, but all you could see were the awful carvings on your chest. All you could feel was that deathly chill the engulfed you when that thing attacked you.
A light knock at the door jolted you out of your thoughts.
"Come in." You said.
The door opened slowly to reveal a pretty girl with bright blue eyes and golden blonde hair that almost glowed. You instantly noticed the Marks that decorated her hands and arms, not covered by the pajamas she wore.
She introduced herself as Christa, a slayer still in the stages of training.
"I thought you might want something to help you sleep." She said gently, handing you a steaming mug of something faintly sweet smelling.
Taking a sip, the sweet milky liquid spread across your palette instantly soothing you.
You instantly grinned at the familiar taste. "Warm milk and honey with a little bit of nutmeg?"
Christa nodded. "It's the perfect drink for relaxing."
"My older brother made it for me after every mission I went on..."
Christa picked up on the hint of sadness in your voice. "Your brother... Is he?"
"Dead, killed by a gang of mid tier demons."
"I'm so sorry."
"It's something one can get used to. The loss."
"Yes..." Something in Christa's eyes showed that she had experienced loss as well.
"Thank you for the drink Christa!" You said, trying to lighten the mood.
"You're welcome, now you should sleep, after the night you've had..." She left, shutting the door lightly behind her.
You sipped on the contents of the mug slowly, savoring the comforting warmth it provided. After downing the last drop, you prepared to face the inevitable, setting the mug down on your bedside table and shutting off the lights.

Warm fingers with feather light touches brushed over your chest. Instead of painful stinging, the slices in your chest were soothed. You tried to look at what was so gently caressing you, but all you could see was bright light.
A deep voice filled your senses as it called out your name. Rich and gentle, it soothed you further.
Squinting, you could make out what appeared to be a pair of piercing blue eyes. You saw a faint outline of a face. And were those wisps of blonde hair?
"Who are you?" You whispered.
"All in good time..." The bright light left you suspended in nothingness, in a dreamless sleep. It was something that you hadn't experienced since you became a slayer.

The Devil's Night [Rivaille x Reader]
You crept through the halls, making sure you made no sound. You wore a black shirt with camouflage pants and a pair of matching combat boots. You held a Scar-L in your hand, ready to fire at what could pop out in front of you at any moment. Your [h/c] ponytail swung back and forth, matching your movements. You spotted a turn going into the other room, and you leaned up against the wall, trying to stay away from the open corner. You turned abruptly, ready to fire, and was met face-to-face with a stunned Rivaille and Hanji. You quietly sighed in relief, happy it was just them. You lowered your weapon slightly, and took out your pack.

What You Are (Levi x Demon Reader)
Naturally, it came as quite a shock when you found out that your father was a demon. Not just a bad person – a literal demon, with horns and everything. Your mother had successfully hidden the truth from you for over two decades of your life, and because you had never used your demonic powers, your appearance remained human. That all changed when your duty as a Scout threw you into a dire situation. In order to save yourself and your comrades, you activated the powers that you didn’t even know you had. You were skilled enough as a human, but since that fateful moment, everything was heightened to superhuman levels – speed, strength, agility, perception. You also gained night vision, as well as the ability to manipulate shadows. The instant you unlocked your demonic powers, your appearance changed to reflect your heritage. You now had a barbed tail, black nails as sharp as claws, and horns that curved around your head like a crown. Your eyes were also unnaturally bright, as if the

Please take care. ___________________________________________________________________________________ “Get out of here!” the young woman shouted. But Levi didn’t move. Most people would have been afraid. However, Levi was more curious than anything. Maybe a few years of being the top dog down here had given him a false sense of security. Regardless, he wasn’t about to leave without knowing who won this fight... The woman with the katana, or the monster that had attacked him. It had looked human, at first. Then Levi had noticed its slitted pupils, its claw-like fingernails, and its deathly paleness that was unnatural even in the Underground. Levi had fought the most powerful street lords in this city and never met his match. Yet, this thing was stronger and faster than him, by far. Levi didn’t know how this woman was keeping up with it. But she was. More than
